Trusted LOCAL Resources are EVERYTHING!

Over the years, I have come to meet and work with some amazing professionals in health, conception, pregnancy, parenting, motherhood, toddlerdom and life in general.

Here is a list of some of my favourite Northern Beaches and North Shore professionals who I happily refer my clients to see for various care needs.

They are people who I have either directly utilised or have had a lot of conversations with over the years and trust.

Below that is a list of local community organisations, set up to support families in crisis. They provide meals and emergency care for families in need.

MY RESOURCES

  • IVF - Dr Frank Quinn

Conception can be a tricky business and fertility is a journey that some parents need some help to navigate. Dr Quinn helped us to conceive our youngest and was gentle and kind and supportive all along the journey. IVF Australia

  • Family Doctor - Dr Domenic Hill

Dr Hill cares deeply for his patients! I’m nervous to list him in case he gets too busy for us! He talks to my kids when we go in instead of over them to me. He makes them relaxed and comfortable with any physical checks. He is very thorough and will often order more tests to run things to ground and he isn’t dismissive of “Mum concerns”. He was also the only person to check on me when I had my son in hospital with viral meningitis at 5 weeks of age! This practice will always try to fit in a sick kiddo, all drs are fab and the nurses are lovely with the vaccines etc. Dee Why General Practice

  • Osteopath - Dr Vanessa Fisher

When my son was born, he had torticollis, basically a kink in his neck that meant he only looked one direction. It made feeding difficult, gave him a flat spot and caused him pain. Vanessa was amazing at unlocked his neck and had an immediate positive effect on our feeding journey. Vanessa has helped many of my clients with babies who have had breech or instrumental births, with feeding and exercises. Osteopath

Our son was that snotty kiddo, always drippy and needed to have his Adnoids removed. Dr Hobson was referred to us by our GP and took the time to give us lots of options including methods to try before resorting to surgery. Although we did end in surgery, she was kind and supportive, and Angus was up and bouncing by that afternoon. ENT

  • Family Dentist - Dr Sara Lonergan

Dr Sara Lonergan is kind, thorough and gentle (big deal for scary cat me!) and a huge breastfeeding advocate. Sara owns the practice and they are extremely kid friendly! Tooth Sparkler
